Greetings Cedars Brothers & Sisters,

JOYFUL BOUNTY UPDATE: Nine churches in the Tri-City area came together to serve 262 Easter meals this past Sunday. Each of the nine churches gave more than their commitment, giving Compassion Network 70 meals to distribute on Monday & Tuesday. Special shout out to Prince of Peace for hosting and serving 300+ lunches and for having fun games and entertainment. Another special shout out to New Life Fremont for sending so many wonderful volunteers. Please pray for the impact of this day and for the Gospel that was presented to grow deep and wide in the hearts of those who heard the good news! The city of Fremont is still looking for part-time drivers with a Class A license to drive the mobile shower and laundry truck to various locations. Commitment is needed for a minimum of 20 hours/week. Pay is $35/hour. If interested or know of someone interested please contact the Compassion Network office at 510-796-7378. Please let us know if you helped any of these people in the EBLAST. Take pictures if you help with service projects! Thank you. Scripture of the week: Romans 6:8-11 Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him. For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over him. The death he died, he died to sin once for all; but the life he lives, he lives to God. In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus. There will be no Story of the week as the Compassion Network website was hacked. When the issue is resolved the weekly story will resume. EBLAST can be found here: EBLAST
