The Eldership would like to inform you of an all-church meeting that is scheduled for Wednesday, July 25th at 6:30 pm. This meeting will be held in the Auditorium of Cedars Church. We will not be offering childcare for this event.
The Elders met together Monday night July 16th with Lindsey Alcosiba, Jeff Harris and Tim Ruiz in attendance. Also, Ray Van Gilst (CMA Northern Pacific Superintendent) was conferenced called into this meeting as well. The purpose of this meeting was to discuss the final and unanimous decision of the Eldership concerning the future leadership of Cedars Church. We wanted to have a final discussion will all parties represented, and that discussion took place. The other point of the meeting was to discuss the best way to let Cedars know of this decision and when was best to lay out this plan before the church. We have chosen a town hall-style meeting set for Wednesday night the 25th. This will allow us to not only explain who the leader will be, but also talk of how leadership will be distributed throughout the staff. We will also be offering a time of question and answers. We also want to let you know that we will be recording that meeting and it will be posted within 24 hours of its conclusion.
So as to properly prepare for this time of questions and answers, we have created a form in which you can submit questions prior to the meeting. We believe that most questions will be answered as we announce new leadership. But your questions could be helpful for us as we get ready for that night. There will be time to ask questions on that night, but again if we can answer as many questions as possible in our presentation, then that will allow for better clarity for all involved.
To submit your question(s) please click here to be taken to the online form. If you would like to email questions or send the Elders a letter, you can do so as well. The email for the Elders is Elders@cedars-church.com.
Thank you for praying with us, as we seek unity and direction for Cedars Church as we move forward in the vision he has called us to.
