WEEK 1 - Water to Wine

The first sign was Jesus turning water to wine. This revealed to a small group that he was more than just a prophet or teacher. We discussed the various elements of this story and how it helps us to put our trust in Jesus for both the big and small things in life.

WEEK 2

Jesus heals the son of a royal official from 20 miles away by just saying he is going to live. And the remarkable thing is that the official believed Jesus at his work before he had confirmation. We also need to hold on to faith and believe when God speaks, even when we don't see change to our circumstances. The kind of faith that God is looking for does not need a sign or miracle to belief what God says. We also saw that we can be ones to help others believe though the our words and actions.

WEEK 3

We looked at the events around this healing and saw some majors themes such as the never ending working of God in our lives and his compassion. We also talked about how we can limit God by not really expecting anything to change. We also saw how our man-made kind of religion can get int he way of what God wants to do for us.
