WHAT IS ROOTED?
Rooted isn’t simply a bible study or a book. It’s a front door into discipleship at Cedars.
It is a 10 wk small group setting where we experience the essential rhythms to a healthy relationship with Jesus. Whether you we have been a follow of Jesus for years or are new to the faith – it is a perfect place to jump into discipleship in community.
Rooted is a place to experience faith and establish firm roots in the Truth of God’s Word through personal study and joining together in a space where we can be safe and known.
EXPERIENTIAL SPIRITUAL COMMUNITY
When it comes to discipleship, experience is key to true life transformation in Christ. ROOTED provides an environment in community for people to build on faith foundations such as worship, generosity, service, evangelism, prayer and studying God's word.
INTENTIONAL EQUIPPING of GOD’S PEOPLE
Rooted is facilitator led - meaning the discussion happens amongst the people and is not leader content driven. This supports a healthy spiritual community and simultaneously models for people how to disciple someone else. These groups can equip people to lead a thriving life groups or house church well beyond the 10-week experience.
